ISRO YUVIKA 2025 registration deadline is today

The registration for ISRO's YUVIKA 2025 program ends today, March 23. This program is designed for school students interested in space science and technology. Interested students or their parents can apply on the official website, jigyasa.iirs.gov.in. YUVIKA stands for "Young Scientist Programme" and aims to teach students about space technology and applications. It also encourages youth to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). To be eligible, students must be in Class 9 as of January 1, 2025. The first selection list will be announced on April 7. Selected students must report to ISRO centers by May 19. The program runs from May 19 to May 30. There is no registration fee to apply. Selection will be based on various criteria, including grades from Class 8, performance in an online quiz, and participation in science fairs and competitions. Special consideration is given to students from rural schools and those involved in scouting or similar organizations. ISRO aims to have participants from all states and union territories at its seven centers across India.
