Israeli tanks enter West Bank for first time in over two decades as violence escalates
Israeli tanks have entered the West Bank for the first time since 2002, marking a significant escalation in military actions. This follows a recent offensive launched on January 21, just two days after a ceasefire agreement. Israel's Defense Minister stated that the military will remain in certain urban refugee camps in the West Bank until at least next year. Nearly 40,000 Palestinians have been displaced from three camps in the northern region. The situation has worsened, with an increase in Palestinian attacks. Recently, three empty buses exploded in Israel, which police are investigating as a suspected terrorist attack.
