Israel confirms names of four deceased hostages to be returned from Gaza
Israel has received the names of four deceased hostages from Hamas, set to be handed over in Gaza on Thursday. The Israeli Prime Minister's office confirmed that families of the deceased have been notified. The deceased include a mother, her two young sons, and an elderly man. Israel has been seeking confirmation about the Bibas family, whose members were reported dead by Hamas. Yarden Bibas was released on February 1. His wife and children were captured during the October 7 attacks, which have been widely reported. Hamas claims they died in Israeli strikes, but Israel has not verified this.
