Isabela's Sandhu honors goddess Ikapati in national costume

Miss Universe Philippines contestant Jarina Sandhu of Isabela will wear a national costume honoring the goddess Ikapati, symbolizing growth and abundance. The costume, designed by Kennedy John Gaspar, resembles a tree trunk with Sandhu appearing to emerge from it, adorned with harvest-inspired elements. It pays tribute to Isabela's agricultural heritage and the province's connection to the earth. Sandhu, a strong contender, will compete in the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 coronation on Friday, May 2, where the current titleholder will crown her successor.
