iOS 26 adds eight new background sounds

Apple's iOS 26 update introduces eight new background sounds for the Accessibility feature, bringing the total to sixteen options. The new sounds include Babble, Steam, Airplane, Boat, Bus, Train, Rain on Roof, and Quiet Night, expanding upon the original eight options like Ocean and Rain. Users can access and customize these sounds within the Accessibility settings. Currently available to developers, iOS 26 will launch publicly in September, alongside new iPhones, following a public beta release in July.
