Interscope Records dominates Billboard 200 with top three albums

Interscope Records has achieved a significant milestone by holding the top three spots on the Billboard 200 albums chart for the week ending March 29. This is the first time Interscope has claimed these positions at the same time in over 20 years. Playboi Carti's album, "MUSIC," debuted at No. 1. Lady Gaga's album, "MAYHEM," fell to No. 2, while Kendrick Lamar's former No. 1 album, "GNX," dropped to No. 3. All three albums are part of the Interscope Capitol labels group. Interscope last held the top three slots on the chart back in May 2003, with albums from Marilyn Manson, 50 Cent, and Cold. The label has managed to capture the top three positions several times in the past 30 years. Only one other label, Republic, has achieved this feat in the last three decades. Republic first accomplished it in 2018 and has repeated it several times since then.
