Infosys, Wipro increased median salaries 30% since 2021

Indian IT companies, including Infosys and Wipro, have increased median employee salaries by up to 30% since fiscal year 2021. This reflects a significant rise in compensation for many IT professionals. Infosys and Wipro's median salaries rose from approximately 7 lakh rupees in FY21 to 10 lakh rupees in FY24. Tech Mahindra saw a smaller increase, while global firms like Cognizant and Accenture had more moderate gains. Despite the overall salary growth, the rate of annual pay increases is slowing across the industry, influenced by factors such as company growth, competition, and employee turnover.
