The India-made Maruti Suzuki Fronx received a 4-star safety rating from the Japan New Car Assessment Programme (JNCAP), highlighting its strong crash safety performance. The compact SUV achieved an 84% overall score, with high marks in crash safety and preventive safety features. It excelled in several tests, including full-wrap frontal and side collisions, demonstrating robust protection for occupants and pedestrians. While the Fronx performed well overall, it showed room for improvement in areas like neck injury protection and pedestrian head protection. The vehicle also scored well in tech-driven safety tests, such as lane departure prevention.
