Indiana teacher accused of sexually assaulting underage boys
Brittany Fortinberry, a 31-year-old teacher from Indiana, is facing serious charges for allegedly asking underage boys to engage in sexual acts while wearing Scream masks. She was arrested last month after accusations emerged that she sexually assaulted a 15-year-old student and sent explicit messages to others. After spending weeks in jail, Fortinberry was photographed in an orange jumpsuit with her hair pulled back. This followed a brief transfer to another jail for unspecified legal matters. She is now facing multiple charges as more alleged victims have come forward since her arrest. Fortinberry reportedly told students at two junior high schools about her sexual fantasies. Investigators found sexual paraphernalia in her home. Allegations include that she provided alcohol and drugs to minors before the abuse occurred. One victim described how Fortinberry pressured him and his friends to participate in group sex. She purportedly threatened the boy if he told anyone about the incidents. Some parents have claimed their children received gifts and drugs from her, and one parent reported seeing a sexual video involving her son. Fortinberry's husband, Nicholas, is also facing charges for intimidation and failing to report the alleged crimes. He has filed for divorce and is seeking custody of their four-year-old child. A court hearing is scheduled for April 3, and a jury trial is set for June 25.
