India introduces easy online reprint process for PAN cards with QR code

Indian PAN cardholders can now request a reprint of their cards featuring a QR code for Rs 50. The new card will be sent to the registered email address, streamlining the process for users. To obtain the reprint, users must identify their PAN card's issuing authority, either Protean or UTIITSL. They can then follow a simple online procedure to submit their request and make the payment. The reprint process includes verifying personal details, selecting an OTP delivery method, and completing the payment. Users will receive an acknowledgment receipt, allowing them to download an e-PAN after 24 hours, with the physical card arriving within 15-20 days.
