India and US launch Mission 500 to boost bilateral trade to $500 billion by 2030

India and the United States have launched "Mission 500" to more than double bilateral trade to $500 billion by 2030. A new 10-year defense partnership framework will be signed this year, enhancing military cooperation and technology exchange. The US will expand defense sales to India and streamline regulations for defense trade. New initiatives include the US-India TRUST initiative for technology collaboration and the INDUS Innovation model to foster industry partnerships in emerging technologies. Both countries reaffirmed their commitment to multilateral cooperation and condemned terrorism, specifically calling on Pakistan to address the 26/11 attacks. The US has approved the extradition of accused Tahawwur Rana to India.
