India and Pakistan are safer than the U.S
A recent safety ranking of countries has revealed that the United States is less safe than India and Pakistan. According to the "Numbeo Safety Index 2025," the U.S. ranks 89th among 146 countries. In contrast, India is 66th, and Pakistan is 65th. The ranking highlights rising crime rates, racial discrimination, and gun violence in the U.S. Public safety concerns are significant, as many Americans feel unsafe traveling alone at night. This sense of insecurity is alarming for citizens across the country. Leading the list of the safest nations is Andorra, a small country with a population of around 82,000. It is followed by the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Taiwan, and Oman. In contrast, Venezuela, Papua New Guinea, Haiti, Afghanistan, and South Africa are among the most dangerous countries.
