Imagine Dragons' Hollywood Bowl concert films debut in theaters
Imagine Dragons held a special concert at the Hollywood Bowl last October, featuring a full orchestra. This event marked the end of their North American tour, and it is now being shown in theaters on March 26 and 29. The concert film, titled "Imagine Dragons: Live From the Hollywood Bowl," lasts two hours and showcases the band's journey over their 16-year career. The band's guitarist, Wayne Sermon, discussed how they collaborated with composer Inon Zur to create arrangements for the show. Sermon expressed excitement about performing with an orchestra, noting the powerful energy it brought to the concert. He mentioned how past fans praised the experience, highlighting moments from hits like "Radioactive" and their collaborative song "Children of the Sky." Initially, the band didn't plan to film the concert, fearing it was a unique experience meant to be enjoyed live. However, they later decided to document it for fans who couldn't attend, leading to its release in theaters and a planned streaming option. Ticket details are available on their website.
