IDF examines reports of Hamas handing over Shiri Bibas's remains to Red Cross

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) is reviewing reports that Hamas has handed over the remains of Shiri Bibas to the Red Cross. Hamas previously claimed her body was released along with her two children. Israel stated that forensic testing indicated the body was that of an unidentified Palestinian woman, not Mrs. Bibas. Hamas maintains that she and her children died in an Israeli airstrike while held hostage. Hamas's Al-Aqsa TV reported that the remains have been transferred to the Red Cross, but this has not been confirmed by the humanitarian agency.
