"Ich sterbe. Kommst du?" wins Filmkunstfest MV audience award

The film "Ich sterbe. Kommst du?" (I'm Dying. Are You Coming?) won the audience award at the 34th Filmkunstfest MV, a victory for the film's lead actress, Jennifer Sabel, and her husband, the director. The film, which explores a terminally ill mother's struggle to connect with her son, also won the audience award at the Max Ophüls Prize festival. The film's director, Benjamin Kramme, also received the DEFA Foundation's promotional award. The festival also honored Barbara Sukowa with the "Golden Ox" award for her contributions to cinema, and recognized other films and actors, including "Ungeduld des Herzens" (Impatience of the Heart) as the best film.
