IB officer Megha M. found dead near Pettah station

An officer from India's Intelligence Bureau was found dead on railway tracks near Pettah station on Monday. She was identified as Megha M., 24 years old. Megha worked in the immigration section at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport. Local police are treating her death as a possible suicide. Her body was discovered about 200 meters from Pettah station, between Pettah and Kochu Veli. After a post-mortem examination, the body was sent to her family. Megha was originally from Pathanamthitta. She left her office after finishing her shift on Monday morning. Authorities have provided a suicide prevention helpline for those in need.
