Hyundai reports steady sales for Ioniq 5 N despite low numbers

Hyundai's Ioniq 5 N, a high-performance electric vehicle, is nearing its one-year sales mark. While it has received critical acclaim, sales figures remain low, with estimates suggesting fewer than 2,000 units sold in 2024, representing less than 5% of total Ioniq 5 sales. Hyundai does not disclose specific sales numbers for the Ioniq 5 N, but the company considers its performance satisfactory for a niche product. In comparison, the more affordable Elantra N has seen higher sales, around 5,500 units. Looking ahead, Hyundai plans to update the Ioniq 5 N for the 2026 model year, transitioning to the North American Charging Standard. This change will align it with the rest of the Ioniq 5 lineup.
