Hyderabad Metro plans expansion with new corridors to northern city

Hyderabad Metro Rail will expand to northern Hyderabad with two new corridors: Paradise-Medchal (23 km) and JBS-Shameerpet (22 km). This development responds to long-standing demands from residents in the area. Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has instructed Hyderabad Airport Metro Limited to prepare detailed project reports for these extensions. The reports will be submitted to the Government of India for approval. Currently, Hyderabad Metro operates 69 km across three corridors. The new extensions aim to improve connectivity and travel in northern Hyderabad.
