Hulu casts new leads for "Prison Break" pilot

Hulu's new pilot for "Prison Break" has cast Emily Browning, Lukas Gage, and Drake Rodger as series regulars. This version, created by Elgin James, will be distinct from the original series and will not feature the main characters from the original. Browning will play Cassidy Collins, a corrections officer; Gage will portray Jackson, a politician; and Rodger will take on the role of Tommy, an inmate. The plot details remain undisclosed. The original "Prison Break" aired from 2005 to 2009 and had a sequel limited series in 2015. The new pilot was announced in late 2023 and picked up in December.
