HSL, Pentagon will build anti-drone systems for Indian Navy

Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) and Pentagon Rugged Systems will collaborate to develop anti-drone and communication systems for the Indian Navy, enhancing maritime security. The partnership, formalized on July 5th, aims to create indigenous systems capable of detecting and neutralizing drones up to 30 km away, along with secure long-range communication capabilities. The systems will feature advanced jamming technology. This initiative supports India's defense self-reliance and is expected to improve the operational readiness of naval vessels, with integration trials starting next quarter.
