HPE unveils next-generation ProLiant Compute servers with enhanced security and AI features
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has launched its ProLiant Compute Gen12 server lineup, focusing on enhanced security, efficiency, and AI capabilities. This marks HPE's first major server generation release since 2022, aiming to stand out in a market increasingly centered on AI. The Gen12 servers feature advanced security measures, including a silicon root of trust and a dedicated security processor for quantum-resistant key storage. HPE claims these enhancements will support a zero-trust architecture, addressing modern security threats effectively. Additionally, HPE's Compute Ops Management platform aims to reduce server management time by up to 75%. The Gen12 servers also promise significant efficiency improvements, with a 7:1 server consolidation ratio and 65% power savings compared to the previous generation.
