Hong Kong hosts numerous art events this March
March is a special month for art lovers in Hong Kong. The city hosts a variety of art events, including fairs, festivals, and exhibitions. These activities aim to bring people together and promote cultural exchange. They also help attract visitors back to Hong Kong after the pandemic. One of the biggest events is Art Basel Hong Kong. It will take place from March 28 to 30 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. This year, 240 galleries from 42 countries will participate. More than half of the galleries come from the Asia-Pacific region, and 23 are new to the event. The fair will have different sections, including “Galleries,” “Insights,” “Discoveries,” “Film,” “Encounters,” and “Kabinett.” The fair director, Angelle Siyang-Le, mentioned that during the pandemic, people lost their connection to the art world. Now, they want to rebuild those connections and expand horizons. Art March offers something for everyone, from exhibitions to interactive experiences. It's a great time to enjoy and explore art in Hong Kong.
