Himachal medical university will relocate to Balh

Himachal Pradesh's Atal Medical and Research University is preparing to relocate to Balh due to space constraints. The state government plans to expand the Nerchowk Medical College, offering super-specialty services. The university's relocation to Balh will facilitate the construction of new administrative buildings, a library, hostels, and residential facilities. Previously, land in Sundernagar was considered, but local opposition led to the new proposal in Balh Valley. This move aims to resolve space issues for machinery and equipment, enabling ward expansion.
