Health department orders closure of Nepali Asian Restaurant in Carrick due to health violations

The Allegheny County Health Department ordered Nepali Asian Restaurant in Carrick to close due to a cockroach infestation and other health violations. Inspectors found 22 violations, including six high-risk issues, such as rotten food and unsafe meat storage. The inspection revealed live cockroaches in various areas, dead fruit flies in flour, and a lack of cleaning supplies. The restaurant must address these issues and pass a re-inspection to reopen.
