Health Canada recalls Hello Kitty plush toys over choking hazard concerns

Health Canada has recalled several Hello Kitty plush toys due to a choking hazard. The hard plastic noses on the dolls can detach, posing a risk to young children. The recall affects 2,000 to 3,000 toys sold in Canada from 2018 to November 2024. Consumers are advised to stop using the toys and return them for a refund. No injuries have been reported related to this issue. The affected toys include various 10-inch and 13-inch Hello Kitty designs, manufactured in South Korea.
