HDB to launch over 25000 new flats in Singapore in 2025

The Housing & Development Board (HDB) in Singapore will launch over 25,000 new flats in 2025, including 19,600 Build-to-Order (BTO) flats and 5,500 Sale of Balance (SBF) flats. This marks an increase in the number of flats compared to previous years. Among the BTO flats, 3,800 will be Shorter Waiting Time (SWT) flats, which have a waiting period of under three years. This is an increase from 2,876 SWT flats offered last year, exceeding the annual supply commitment. The new flats will be categorized into Standard, Plus, and Prime types, located in various areas. The increase in BTO and SBF flats aims to address housing demand and may help stabilize the resale market.
