The Haut Val-d'Oise community in France will launch a free carpooling service for residents commuting to work, starting June 16, 2025. This initiative, in partnership with BlaBlaCar Daily and Île-de-France Mobilités, will allow passengers to travel for free within the Île-de-France region. Drivers will be compensated based on distance and passengers. The service aims to reduce traffic and carbon emissions, with a "return home" guarantee for passengers.
