Haryana minister honored farmers, promoting natural farming
Haryana's Agriculture Minister honored progressive farmers at the 7th Fruit Festival in Ladwa, Kurukshetra, on Sunday. The event highlighted the government's commitment to supporting natural farming. Minister Shyam Singh Rana announced a new grain market in Gurugram and a quality control lab to facilitate the purchase of naturally grown crops. Ten progressive farmers were recognized for their contributions to horticulture during the festival. The government aims to expand natural farming to one lakh acres, currently practiced on 10,000 acres. The festival also showcased research on various fruits at the Indo-Israel technology-based fruit center established in 2016.
