Hamilton County plans trail extension to connect Potters Bridge Park and Cicero

Hamilton County is set to expand Potters Bridge Park and complete a long-awaited trail connection to Cicero. A $3.1 million grant will fund the final section of the Steven Nation Community Pathway, which will connect to existing trails. The first section of the pathway, completed in 2023, runs 2.5 miles from Cicero to the White River Campground. The new 4.5-mile section will extend south on Cumberland Road, enhancing access to the park and surrounding areas. The expansion will nearly double the size of Potters Bridge Park, which features various recreational amenities. The project aims to meet the demand for more trails in the region, with completion expected in 2028.
