Hamas will release bodies of four Israeli hostages

Hamas announced it will release the bodies of four more Israeli hostages on Wednesday night. This follows a ceasefire agreement with Israel, which has seen 29 hostages returned so far out of an agreed 33. The four deceased hostages are Tsachi Idan, Shlomo Mantzur, Itzhak Elgarat, and Ohad Yahalomi. This release marks the end of the first phase of the ceasefire, with negotiations for the next phase yet to begin. In addition, around 590 to 594 Palestinian prisoners are expected to be released on the same night. Preparations are underway at a hospital in Khan Younis to receive them.
