Hamas to release six Israeli hostages and four bodies including Bibas children
Hamas announced it will release six living Israeli hostages on Saturday and the bodies of four others on Thursday. This increase in the number of hostages released is linked to Israel allowing mobile homes and construction equipment into Gaza. The four bodies include those of Shiri Bibas and her two sons, Ariel and Kfir, who Hamas claims were killed in an Israeli attack. Israel has not confirmed their deaths and has urged caution regarding the spread of information. The six hostages are the last to be freed under the current ceasefire phase. Negotiations for a second phase, involving the release of more hostages, are still pending.
