Hamas to release four deceased Israeli hostages tonight
Hamas announced it will release the bodies of four more Israeli hostages on Wednesday night. This follows a ceasefire agreement with Israel, which has seen 29 hostages returned so far, with four more expected to be the final ones in this phase. The four deceased hostages include Shlomo Mantzur, 85, and Tsachi Idan, 49. Their release is part of a deal that has faced complications, including a previous mix-up with the identities of returned bodies. Hamas also plans to release around 590 to 594 Palestinian prisoners on the same night. The Israeli government has not confirmed this number, and the release was delayed last week due to forensic issues with a previous handover.
