Hamas reportedly returns remains of Shiri Bibas to Israel after misidentification

Hamas allegedly returned the remains of Shiri Bibas to Israel on Friday, after discrepancies were found in a previous transfer. The body was initially misidentified, causing outrage as it was not Shiri Bibas but an unidentified woman. The remains of her two children, Kfir and Ariel Bibas, were confirmed as victims of Hamas. They were reportedly killed by the group during an attack on October 7, 2023. The fourth body returned is believed to be Oded Lifshitz. Israel's Prime Minister expressed sorrow over the situation, emphasizing the brutality of the killings. The Israel Defense Forces are in contact with the Bibas family regarding the identification process.
