Hamas releases more hostages as body of Israeli captive confirmed

Hamas has released two more hostages, Tal Shoham and Avera Mengistu, to the Red Cross in Gaza as part of a ceasefire deal with Israel. Four additional hostages are expected to be freed later today. The body of Shiri Bibas, an Israeli hostage, has been confirmed. Her remains were returned to Israel after being handed over by Hamas, along with the bodies of her two young sons and another deceased captive. Hamas is releasing hostages earlier than planned to ensure the success of a prisoner exchange. Since the ceasefire began on January 19, Hamas has released 19 hostages and four bodies.
