Hamas agrees to early release of four Israeli hostages' bodies, report says

Hamas has agreed to release the bodies of four Israeli hostages earlier than planned, according to an Israeli official. The remains were initially set to be returned on Thursday as part of a ceasefire agreement. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had paused the release of 620 Palestinian prisoners due to Hamas's violations of the ceasefire. The prisoner release was scheduled for Saturday. Reports indicate that two bodies will be transferred to Egypt within 24 hours in exchange for 302 Palestinian prisoners. The return of the four hostages' remains marks the end of Phase 1 of the ceasefire, which began on January 19.
