Haidian Court reveals internet giants' employee corruption, costing millions

Beijing's Haidian District Court revealed eight corruption cases involving employees of major internet companies, highlighting hidden methods and significant financial losses. The court's report detailed 127 internal corruption cases in internet companies over the past five years, causing over 100 million yuan in direct economic losses. The cases involved various departments, with "big tech" employee corruption accounting for 73% of the total. The court also issued a "Clean Development Initiative" urging the industry to strengthen regulations and promote ethical practices to combat corruption, emphasizing the need for internal and external collaboration.
