Hacker modifies Nintendo's Alarmo to display custom themes including cat pictures

Nintendo's new alarm clock, Alarmo, has been hacked to allow custom themes, including cat pictures. A hacker known as GaryOderNichts demonstrated this on social media, showing how to run custom code via USB without opening the device. To achieve this, the firmware of Alarmo was decrypted and uploaded externally. This process enables users to customize their Alarmo experience, although there may be limitations since it is not designed for gaming. Alarmo is currently available for purchase and to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers, but a wider release is expected next year. Meanwhile, Nintendo has launched a new music app for fans.
