Guntur college to host seminar on psychosocial competencies

St. Joseph’s College of Education for Women in Guntur is set to host an international seminar on March 28 and 29. The event is focused on "Psychosocial Competencies for Global Youth." Delegates from countries like Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore will present their research papers at the conference. The college principal, Professor T. Swarupa Rani, announced the event at a press conference on Wednesday. The seminar is organized in collaboration with the Global Counselling Psychologists Association (GCPA). Professor Rani, along with GCPA president D. Saroja, introduced a brochure for the event. Ms. Saroja emphasized that just having skills or educational qualifications is not sufficient to become a global leader. She stressed the importance of enhancing psychosocial competencies. The research presented at the conference aims to help youth focus on these essential skills.
