Gujarat State Eligibility Test results show 2595 candidates qualify with 7.23% pass rate

Vadodara: The results of the 18th Gujarat State Eligibility Test (GSET) were announced, showing 2,595 candidates qualified, a pass rate of 7.23%. This is a slight decrease from the 2,619 candidates who qualified in the previous edition. A total of 35,875 candidates took the exam, up from 35,286 in the 17th GSET. The highest number of qualifiers came from commerce, with 451 candidates passing, followed by life science and English. The 18th GSET was held in December at 11 centers across Gujarat, with an attendance rate of 86.2%. The test qualifies candidates for assistant professor positions in the state.
