Construction of the Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Plant Phase III, featuring two "Hualong One" nuclear reactors, has begun, adding 20 billion kWh of annual electricity generation. The new reactors, each with a capacity of 1.208 million kilowatts, will be located in Guangxi, China. This follows the completion of units 3 and 4 at the same site, also using "Hualong One" technology. The Fangchenggang nuclear power base, already generating over 160 billion kWh, will increase its total capacity to over 6.9 million kilowatts upon completion of Phase III, supporting regional energy security.
