Guadeloupe gets more resources against drug trafficking

Guadeloupe will receive enhanced resources to combat drug trafficking, including additional investigators and new ballistic analysis capabilities. The French Interior Minister announced 13 new investigators for the anti-drug office, a local ballistic analysis lab to speed up investigations, and two mobile gendarmerie squadrons and two nautical brigades. Two radars and a drone will also be deployed to monitor coastlines and waterways, as part of broader efforts to address rising violence and drug transit in the region.
