Afzalpur taluk also experienced a decline, with levels dropping from 9.72 mbgl in 2014 to 20.90 mbgl this year. Though the water level in Afzalpur fell steadily over the years, there was a brief rise in 2021, reaching 6.09 mbgl. However, it decreased again in the following years. Chincholi taluk recorded a notable decline, with groundwater levels decreasing by 8.64 meters. The level fell from 7.72 mbgl in 2014 to 16.36 mbgl in 2024. In contrast, Kamalapur taluk has shown fluctuating water levels. In 2014, it was at 20.49 mbgl, but it dropped to higher levels in the following years. Currently, it stands at 11.61 mbgl in 2024, which is still an increase of 8.88 meters over the last decade. Overall, the average groundwater level in Kalaburagi district has dropped by 7.33 mbgl in the past 10 years, raising concerns about water availability in the region.
