Grok AI chatbot becomes free for all X users with usage limits

Grok, the AI chatbot on X, is now free for all users, but with limitations. Users can access 10 free prompts and generate 10 images every two hours. Analyzing more than three images daily requires a subscription. Previously, Grok was only available to X Premium members, costing $8 monthly or $84 annually. This change follows a trial of the free version in select countries, including New Zealand. The company behind Grok, xAI, recently raised $6 billion, increasing its total funding to $12 billion.
