Greater Manchester police officer pleads guilty to misconduct and faces prison time
A Greater Manchester Police officer, PC Choni Kenny, has admitted to misconduct in public office, facing prison for her connections with two criminals. She previously denied three charges but has now pleaded guilty to five counts. Kenny, 27, admitted to four counts of misconduct and one count of conspiracy related to her relationships with criminals Rahim Mottley and Josh Whelan. Her offenses occurred between April 2021 and June 2023. Kenny has been suspended since her arrest. She will be sentenced in April alongside Mottley and Whelan, who are also in custody. The judge indicated that she will likely face jail time upon her return.
