Grace Marion Stack, widow of Dr. William J. Stack, dies at 99 in Connecticut

Grace Marion Stack, widow of Dr. William J. Stack, passed away at home on December 23, 2024, surrounded by family. She was 99 years old and had lived in West Hartford and Old Lyme Shores Beach. Born on December 10, 1925, in Portland, Connecticut, Grace graduated from nursing school in 1946. She worked as a Head Nurse and volunteered with various organizations after retiring in 1988. She is survived by four children, nine grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on January 9, 2025, at St. Peter Claver Parish Center, followed by a funeral mass. Burial will take place at Mt. Saint Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield, Connecticut. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
