Government launches chintan shivir in Udaipur to promote women and child development

A new 'chintan shivir' focused on women and child development opened in Udaipur, inaugurated by Union Minister Annapurna Devi. The event aims to enhance integrated development in these areas, as conceptualized by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma highlighted the shivir as a platform for dialogue and collaboration. Sessions will cover government initiatives like Mission Shakti and Mission Vatsalya, along with presentations of best practices from various states. The state government announced the launch of the CM Amrit Aahar Yojana, providing additional nutrition to children at anganwadi centers. The incentive under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana has also increased from Rs 5,000 to Rs 6,500.
