Google Play Store tests new Download Manager for tracking recently downloaded apps
Google Play Store is reportedly developing a Download Manager that will track and display recently downloaded apps on Android devices. This feature was found during an APK teardown of version 42.9.16-31 of the Play Store. The Download Manager will automatically appear after an app installation. It will show a list of recently downloaded apps and highlight those that have not yet been opened. Users will also see a count of downloaded apps on the app details page. This feature is currently not available to the public and is still in testing. Recently, the Play Store has introduced other updates, including the ability to download multiple apps simultaneously and a shift to Android App Bundles over traditional APKs.
