Google Calendar introduces customizable colors for better organization

Google Calendar now allows users to customize calendar colors for better organization. Users can change colors on both desktop and mobile devices, but creating new colors is only possible on desktop. To change a calendar's color on desktop, users can select from preset options or enter a custom Hex code. For mobile, users can only choose from existing colors. Additionally, users can switch between light and dark modes for different appearances. Google Calendar can also be integrated with Outlook, but custom colors do not transfer. Users can assign color categories in Outlook instead. The Time Insights feature allows users to label events with colors to track time spent on activities.
