Google Beam expands to six countries via Industrious partnership

Google announced the expansion of Google Beam to six countries, alongside the launch of its first extended network through a partnership with Industrious, a global provider of premium flexible workspaces. Google Beam units are now shipping to customers in the US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, and Japan, supported by 18 channel partners. The product, delivered as HP Dimension with Google Beam, integrates with Google Meet and Zoom. An internal eight-week Google study found teams using Beam felt 50% more connected, found it 33% easier to ensure feedback was understood, and saw a 21% drop in follow-up meetings. Bain and Company tested the technology for campus recruiting earlier this year, while Netflix and Capital Group are early adopters. Starting in October, HP Dimension with Google Beam will be available for reservation at select Industrious locations in Atlanta, Chicago, New York City, and Palo Alto.
