Gigabyte launches Aorus AI Snatch app to simplify X3D Turbo Mode control on AMD motherboards

Gigabyte has launched a new Windows app called Aorus AI Snatch, allowing users to enable or disable the X3D Turbo Mode on certain AMD motherboards without accessing the BIOS. This app is an add-on for the Gigabyte Control Center. Previously, users had to enter the BIOS to change the X3D Turbo Mode setting, which disables the secondary CCD and SMT on Ryzen 9 processors. The new app simplifies this process, although a system reboot is still required for changes to take effect. The X3D Turbo Mode is designed to improve gaming performance by optimizing how threads are managed on dual-CCD CPUs. Despite the app's controversial name, it aims to enhance user experience with Gigabyte's AMD motherboards.
